What's not included in the investment?
A few additional costs may arise depending on your project's needs. Copywriting is not a service I offer, so website copy is the client's responsibility. Website domains and hosting are also handled directly by you. Costs like font licenses, stock photography, or third-party plugins may apply depending on your project and will always be flagged in advance, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Can I just get a logo?
A logo alone is a single word in a much larger story. At Silver Sun Studios, I only build complete visual identities because that's the only way to give your brand the clarity and cohesion it deserves. If you're ready to invest in the full picture, I'm ready to build it with you.
What if I already have branding and only need a website?
Website design at Silver Sun Studios is reserved exclusively for brands I've built in-house. This ensures that every site I design is a true extension of the brand behind it, not a compromise between two different creative visions.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot on my calendar, regardless of package. The remaining balance is then split according to your tier: First Light: $1,250 due after Direction is approved, $1,250 due before final handoff. Silver Sun: $2,400 due after Direction is approved, $2,400 due before final handoff. Solstice: $3,167 due after Direction is approved, $3,167 due before brand handoff, and the final $3,166 due upon completion of the website build.
How far in advance should I book?
I accept up to two active projects at a time, and no more than one Solstice project at a time, since a website build needs my full, undivided focus. That means I can take on two brand identity projects (First Light or Silver Sun) simultaneously, or one brand project alongside a Solstice engagement — but never two web builds at once. Availability is limited by design, so every project gets the attention it deserves. If you're considering working together, reaching out sooner rather than later is always the right move.
What do I need to prepare before we begin?
Before we begin, I ask that you come with a clear sense of your brand's name, mission, and vision. Beyond that, the most valuable thing you can bring is a strong feeling or instinct for how you want your brand to make people feel. A mood board or Pinterest board is essential to ensure we speak the same visual language from the start. Our design inquiry form walks you through everything in detail and helps you arrive at our first conversation fully prepared.
